Raising awareness of perinatal anxiety and depression in the Geraldton community
There’s a lot of stigma around the mental health of expecting and new parents.
In celebration of Perinatal Depression and Anxiety Awareness Week, Desert Blue Connect are hosting the Big Pram Walk again on Thursday 14th November at Stow Gardens.
This will commence with a walk along the foreshore followed by morning tea, information stalls, face painting and children’s activities presented by local organisations and childcare providers.
Sharon Houwen, Women’s Health Nurse will be available to speak to participants about perinatal depression and anxiety and support services available.
FREE EVENT – All parents, children, babies, grandparents and caregivers most welcome!
